Helping is a part of me, I do not like others to struggle. I want to understand and help, the unknown is scary and sometimes overwhelming. I myself struggle with anxiety, and I never knew where it came from. All I knew was that I had to take care of myself and that something had to change.
There is also this immense joy in not struggling, I feel so free since I started my own healing journey. It is never easy, and never simple but so worth it. For me there is this sense of peace in understanding myself and being able to find solutions that work for me.
I am such a horse person, have been all my life and there was this lightbulb moment while working in Zimbabwe that just change everything for me. There was this little girl, so shy and quite while at school, but around the horses she was smiling and talking. She was so much more herself. And just like her I have become more myself. If you can be so much more yourself, just imagine how you can flourish and how life could be. There is only one me, and there is only one you.
I also have a deep curiosity for how children think and develop, and because of that I want to help children develop optimally. I have been working with children as an Au-Pair and enjoy the experience of how they learn and discover.
